Unit 5 LO1 story board



 This story board shows the types of shots and angles in the scenes and what the characters are doing. We used a variety of shots such as an extreme close up shot for the opening scene for Harrys eyes and zoom shots such as when the monster caught the Amin and TJ and it zoomed in on their faces. This storyboard also shows what is happening in he scene to give the viewer some sort of idea in what they are seeing. This also includes shots such as POV shots when Ben goes down stairs and the viewer has their first encounter with the monster and there are also a lot of mid shots for example when everyone is setting up the candles. When Harry goes down stairs to check up on Ben there is a over the shoulder shot of the monsters hand about to grab him and then it cuts to a mid shot of Harry's face. Throughout the story there are multiple songs and sound effects used. In the scenes where Harry is walking down stairs their is really creepy and eerie music in the back what gets loader as the scene intensifies for example when Harry finds Bens dead body the music noticeably gets louder and then cuts immediately after the monster jump scares him with a sharp fast sound effect. Linking back to sound effects in the scene where the monster spots Amin and TG spying their is no music and there's just sound effects of bones breaking and blood spilling which really disturbs the viewer and with the added effect of no music makes it even more disturbing to watch

“THE RITUAL” SCENE 1 Scene description/opening FADE IN: The scene starts with an extreme close up of the TV reflecting onto Harry's eye as the movie they're watching ends the movie ends the credits roll and Teej turns the lights on BEN well that was awful HARRY nah, I thought it was decent BEN Can we watch spider-man 2 now?
